7 plum tomatoes (pear-shaped ideal), whole 1/2 red onion, sliced into half-circles and cut into quarter-circles (n.b. chop a bit finer next time) 3 jalapeno peppers from the best pepper plant (or more, from lesser plants) 3 medium cloves of garlic, roughly chopped Juice of 1 lime, or a little less than 1tbsp of bottled juice Chili powder Cumin Sugar Salt Salsa Add all ingredients to a food processor. Cumin: shake lightly onto the top of the other ingredients, going around once. Chili powder: as cumin, but twice. Sugar: get some on a spoon, shake a small amount into the food processor. Salt: as sugar. Process until salsa-like. Add a good amount of cilantro, but only to mine, since my wife doesn't like it.
